Shocking - Man sexually assaults bedridden 86-year-old mother

An 86-year-old bedridden woman from Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh was sexually assaulted by her 46-year-old drunk son. The appaling incident came to light after the woman confessed to her neighbours and her plight was heard by an activist.

The accused is a married lorry driver with two children. The man had an argument with his mother and out of spite, he assaulted her. The accused was reportedly in an inebriated state when he assaulted his mother.

The victim has been in bed since due to serious injuries. The police recorded her statement and a case has been registered against the son. The accused is currently on the run.
