Minister makes an Important Announcement for Students appearing for Public Exams!
Home > News Shots > India newsAs the board examinations are yet to commence, amid a global pandemic, the centre on Wednesday announced that students can opt for an examination centre which is present in the city that they are currently residing at.
“Since many students have left their schools or hostels and are now at their homes, I have asked CBSE to allow students to appear for the exam from the place they are in,” the Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokrhiyal Nishank informed through a video message.
In order to claim the centres, students are expected to submit their details and current status by the first week of June.
This step has been taken to avoid stressing students with regards to travelling and is also expected to ensure that the spread of the novel coronavirus is under control. Within the examination halls, masks and sanitizers are allowed. Further students will undergo a thermal check-up for temperature before entering the halls.
Ramesh Pokrhiyal had earlier said that the board is trying to release the result “soon and efforts are being made to declare the result by July-end itself.”
