According to reports, BJP President Amit Shah has been diagnosed with Swine Flu and was rushed to AIIMS in New Delhi on Wednesday.

The information was confirmed by Amit Shah himself on Twitter. Shah wrote, "I have been diagnosed with swine flu for which the treatment is underway. With God's grace and good wishes from all of you, I will recover soon."

Sources from AIIMS alleged that Shah was brought to the hospital under complaints of chest congestion and breathing issues. He has been admitted to an old private ward in the hospital and is under the supervision of AIIMS director Randeep Guleria.

The political situation became even dire on Wednesday when Finance Minister Arun Jaitley took ill and had to be rushed to the US for treatment.
