Home > News Shots > India newsPopular actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan were shifted to a hospital in Mumbai, nearly a week after they tested positive for COVID19.
The 46-year-old actor and her 8-year-old daughter Aaradhya tested positive for coronavirus on Sunday, a day after her husband Abhishek Bachchan and Father- in law, Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan tested positive.
She was under home quarantine with her daughter till now. Abishek Bachchan had tweeted about their condition last week.
According to a report by PTI, Amitabh Bachchan and Abishek Bachchan are currently in the isolation ward of Nanavathi Hospital. "Both Aishwarya and Aaradhya were admitted to Nananvati hospital today. They are fine," hospital source told PTI. “Aishwarya needed medical attention,” another insider said.
Since the actor tested positive for the virus, Amitabh has been regularly updating his fans about his health condition through social media.
As per data released by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), coronavirus cases in Mumbai rose to 98,979 with 1,228 new patients being reported on Friday.Death toll due to the pandemic has increased to 5,582 with 62 new fatalities being recorded.
