As India witnesses a steady rise in the number of COVID-19 cases, 25 districts from 15 states across the country have brought a sigh of relief by containing the spread of the infection efficiently.

Despite reporting COVID-19 cases initially, the 25 districts including Gondia in Maharashtra, Mahe in Puducherry, Patna, Nalandha and Munger in Bihar, South Goa, Kottayam and Wayanad in Kerala have not reported any new COVID-19 case in the past two weeks.

This can be attributed to the states’ promptness in identifying and executing the right measures that would combat the spread.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, April 14, announced an extension of the ongoing nationwide lockdown till 3 May.
