Video: 2 Dead, 40 Seriously Injured After Two Buses Collide With Each Other
Home > News Shots > India newsIn a shocking and tragic case, at least two people were killed and 40 others have been seriously injured in a road accident in Andhra Pradesh's Chittoor.
The accident took place around 4:30 am after a private bus hit an APSRTC Amaravati Volvo bus at Kasipentla village in Chittoor district after two buses collided with each other resulting in major mishaps.
The driver of the APSRTC bus, identified as Ramesh died on the spot while the others have been shifted to Ruya Hospital in Tirupati.
Minutes after the accident, Chittoor Police Sub-Inspector told media that "in this mishap two people have died in APSRTC bus which was heading Vijaywada to Kuppam. One of the driver is dead while other 40 members are said to be injured".
