The Ganges is known to cleanse impurities from people's souls. However, in a bizarre incident, a group of men decided to take a dip in the Ganges to rid off 'toxic feminism'.
A group of 150 men packed their bags and left to Varanasi to take a dip into the Ganges. The men were part of an organisation called 'Safe Indian Family Foundation'. According to SIFF's website, "SIFF is an organization which is helping men who are suffering in their life due to marital disputes, false dowry, false rape and molestation cases."
SIFF has even developed an app in 2014 to protect the rights of men. As a way of celebrating 10 years of SIFF, 150 men decided to take a dip in the Ganges. These men, harassed by their wives, even performed the last rites of their alive spouses and conducted a 'pishachini mukti puja’ for their former wives - so as to get rid of the 'bad memory of past marital relationships'.
