“People who click and upload selfies frequently on social media are less likeable, less successful, more insecure, and less open to new experiences,” claims a study conducted by Washington State University.

The study further says that People who upload more posies than selfies are usually considered more adventurous, more outgoing, less lonely, more dependable, more successful, more self-confident, and better potential friends. If we come across two separate pictures of different individuals from a same theme – for example – enjoying a road trip – our feelings about the person who has posted a selfie will be negative while the person who has posted a picture the other way will look positive.

This is in total contrast to the conventional ‘The more you upload selfies, the more you look cool,’ idea of today’s younger generation. It’s high time they understand that experiencing any moment in person is cooler than clicking a hundred selfies from it.
