Jail gets 5-star review on Google Maps - People say will get arrested again!

In the internet era, everything needs a review so that others can trust and try. Food, hotels, clothes, what not. However, this place that was reviewed was no ordinary.

A man had given a review for a prison in Colombo, a 5-star rating at that! Someone saw the review and posted it on Twitter making it go viral.

People soon started to search if the review was real and turns out it was and soon they also added their dime to the pond and poured reviews for the prison.

"Got arrested for not carrying my identity card, treated me very well. Cells are spacious and clean. Food was ok but rice for 3 times is a bit boring. Handcuff was bit corroded but it's ok it does the job right. The officers are friendly. Overall it was a nice experience," read the original review.

"Wow this really exists. I thought it was a fake meme. I so feel visiting the police station and experience the same like Pathurajan. Personally want to review the food and infrastructure and feel the friendliness of cops," wrote a surprised user.
