Zerodha has launched a new health plan to help their employees stay healthy. Accordingly, it has been announced that bonuses will be given to employees who lose weight.
Nitin Kamath, CEO of Zerodha, posted this on his Twitter page. In it, those with a body mass index (BMI) of less than 25 will be paid a half-monthly salary as a bonus. The average BMI of our employees is 25.3. If employees bring their average body weight index below 24 by August, everyone in the company will be paid a further half a month as a bonus.
Also, those with the lowest body mass index number or the highest change in body mass index number will be declared winners. He said a healthcare company could take the initiative. If you want to make a similar effort in your company, please let us know in the comments.
It is well known that body mass index is not the best practice for monitoring health and hygiene. He said that the most important thing for health and most other things in life is to make an effort.
