Wipro Signs Agreement To Acquire Salesforce Partner 4C; Focus on Key Market Areas - Report!

IT major Wipro announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 4C for 68 million euros, which is one of the largest Salesforce partners in the UK, Europe, and the Middle East.

The acquisition will help Wipro’s strategy to expand in Europe, and this agreement is expected to close in the second quarter which ends by September 30. 

As per a statement, Wipro said it would acquire Salesforce implementation partner 4C for 68 million Euro. This big investment will strengthen Wipro’s position as a Salesforce solutions provider in these markets. 

Getting into details about, Belgium-based 4C- it was established in 1997 with its headquarters in Mechelen, Belgium. According to an Economic Times report, 4C is an independent Salesforce Platinum Partner. It has deep capabilities across multiple Salesforce clouds which includes Sales, Marketing, Field Services and specializes in transforming Quote-to-Cash processes with Salesforce’s Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) and Billing solutions. 

Till date, 4C has successfully delivered over 1,500 projects, for more than 500 customers across the world. The company has also more than 350 employees across offices in London, Paris, Brussels, Copenhagen and Dubai, ET further reported.

“This combination along with Wipro’s reach across the region and industry, will help us become a dominant player in Europe and a leader in Salesforce’s Quote to Cash domain,” said Harish Dwarkanhalli, President, Cloud Enterprise Platforms, Wipro. 

Looking into Wipro's graph, this IT major has a well-established Salesforce business in the Americas, Japan and Australia and 4C will be consolidated as part of Wipro’s Salesforce practice, the statement added.
