TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, Tech M hire 64,000 employees in 6 months!
Home > News Shots > Business newsTrak reports that the top 5 IT companies including TCS, Infosys, HCL, Wipro and Tech Mahindra are on a hiring spree where they have hired about 64,000 employees in six months to September 2019.
This is 18% higher than the last time, when they hired around 54,000 people. Owing to layoff and adjusting the pyramid, these companies have hired entry-level employees and laid off mid-level employees.
The IT jobs in the next 5 years will see reskilling and upskilling and people who are capable of it will be more preferred - especially those who can adapt to newer technology.
Nasscom CSO Gupta said to Trak that “The industry will be a net hirer. The hiring will be similar to last year’s, which was a good year for hiring."
