Swiggy Will Soon Expand To 600 Cities, 200 Universities Near You By December 

One of the leading online food ordering and delivery app-Swiggy is soon to spread its wings across the country. The app on Monday said it will expand its presence to 600 cities and 200 universities across the country by December this year.

As per News18 reports, Swiggy in a statement said that the company currently is present in 500 cities and 75 universities. 

With the help of its Swiggy Launchpad Programme, the renowned online food ordering app will seek to enable students to set up Swiggy's operations in their universities. 

Also, Swiggy sees students as its strongest brand ambassadors that is the reason why they plan to expand to 200 universities by December 2019, the statement further added.

Meanwhile, Swiggy COO Vivek Sunder stated that "With presence in 500 cities and 75 universities, Swiggy already has the widest reach in the country. We will further expand this to 600 cities and 200 universities by December 2019."

Ever since this app has made a strong hold in the market, Swiggy has received positive response from tier 3 and 4 cities, which easily allows it to successfully enter the small market around the country. 

This leading company currently connects consumers to over 1,40,000 restaurant partners in 500 cities across the country.
