Patanjali Launches Ayurvedic Medicine For Coronavirus; Says '100% Recovery In 7 Days'
Home > News Shots > Business newsAs India continues to see a sharp rise in coronavirus cases every single day, yoga guru baba Ramdev’s Patanjali has launched an ayurvedic medicine for COVID-19.
The medicine is called - Coronil; which has been launched on Patanjali's social media handle.
As per news agency ANI, Patanjali co-founder Baba Ramdev said that "their clinical trial found 69 percent of the patients tested recovered from COVID-19 within three days, while 100 percent of the patients recovered within a week."
Meanwhile, Acharya Balkrishna has announced that it is the first and foremost ayurvedic medicine against the deadly coronavirus. However, Patanjali also stated that it would disclose the results of the clinical trials conducted on COVID-19 patients while controlling the placebo.
The corona kit will be made available at just Rs 545, said Acharya Balkrishna, chief executive officer of Patanjali, adding that the kit is for 30 days, reports Hindustan Times.
The trials were conducted by Patanjali Ayurvedic Medicines and the disclosure would be made by co-founders Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna.
