OYO Room Bookings Set Record on Valentine's Day

The report further adds that the number could increase if last-minute bookings are added on.
“We’ve received a whopping 90.57% increase in Valentine’s Day bookings. As per our internal data insights, couples account for the maximum share of bookings on 14th February followed by families / groups of friends celebrating this long weekend, followed by solo bookings," said Gaurav Ajmera, COO, OYO Hotels & Homes - India & South Asia told Business Insider.
The highest number of bookings came from Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore and Mumbai according to the charts. Ajmera added that one of the OYO guests reserved the room for Valentine's day on August 24. 2019 iteslf.
Earlier in 2016, OYO announced that it is Valentine's day favourite. The hotel chain also allowed unmarried couples to book rooms from the same year.
