LPG Cylinder Price Increased; Gets Costlier from Today!
Home > News Shots > Business newsAfter the price of LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas) was raised nearly 3 per cent in September, price of Non-subsidised LPG has been hiked more than 2 per cent in metros with effect from today (October 1).
According to a report by NDTV, the price of LPG in Delhi and Kolkata will be Rs. 605 and Rs. 630 per cylinder (14.2 kilograms) respectively. Previously, the cooking gas was sold at Rs. 590 per cylinder in Delhi whereas in Kolkata it was Rs. 616.
In Mumbai, LPG will now be sold at Rs. 574.5 and in Chennai the same will cost Rs. 620.
At present, the government provides subsidiary up to 12 cylinders per year. Any purchase above the subsidiary limit will fall under the market price.
