LPG Cylinders Price Reduced! Second Time Price Cut In 2 Months: Details Listed
Home > News Shots > Business newsAs April 1 begins the new financial year, LPG cylinder prices have been cut by upto Rs 65 per cylinder. Amid the 21-day lockdown in the country, the price of a non-subsidised LPG Cylinder cooking gas (14.2 kilograms) has been lowered across all metro cities.
As per an Economic Times report, according to the state-owned Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOC), the price of a 14.2 kg non-subsidised LPG cylinder in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Chennai has been brought down by Rs 61.5, Rs 65, Rs 62, and Rs 64.5, respectively.
After the revised prices, a 14.2 kg non-subsidised LPG cylinder now costs Rs 744 per cylinder in Delhi, Rs 714.5 in Mumbai, while in Kolkata, it is Rs 774.5 and in Chennai costs Rs 761.5. This is the second time, where the price cut in cooking gas rates has taken place after increases since August last year.
Looking the price of petrol and diesel, they remain the same. The price of petrol is Rs 69.59 per litre in Delhi while Rs 75.30 per litre in Mumbai, Rs 72.29 per litre in Kolkata, and Rs 72.28 per litre in Chennai, respectively ET further reports.
Highlighting about Diesel prices, it remain at Rs 62.29 per litre in Delhi, Rs 65.71 in Chennai, Rs 64.62 per litre in Kolkata and Rs 65.21 per litre in Mumbai.
