KitKat is now changing for the better; check new look!
Home > News Shots > Business newsSingle-use plastic is being banned worldwide slowly to protect the environment and to avoid causing more damage to it. KitKat has taken an initiative and is now changing its cover.
Earlier, KitKat used to have a silver wrapping and a red wrapping in paper which is not sealed so that the silver lining will be visible. Dairymilk also had a similar pack but the base was golden wrap.
Later, the usage of plastic came into heavy effect and the companies started adapting to it for various reasons. But it has left the world in a very bad state. To reduce the damage now KitKat is turning its package into paper which can be folded into origami crane.
According to Unilad, KitKat's parent company had revealed in January that it would be committing to exclusively using 100% recyclable packaging for its products by 2025. As a part of it, Nestlé’s Japanese branch has taken up the initiative.
