Top Executive officer of ‘Infosys IT’ Company Resigns his Job: Reason?
Home > News Shots > Business newsThe Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and executive vice-president of Infosys, Jayesh Sanghrajka resigned his job on October 14 (Monday). He was appointed as Infosys CFO after Ranganath's exit on November 2018.
Reportedly, Jayesh Sangharjka worked 14 years for Infosys over two stints. Jayesh's work experience extends in the finance department (including corporate finance controller) as the senior officer. Nilanjan Roy has been appointed as the new CFO of Infosys.
Nilanjan Roy is the former Bharti Airtel executive and was appointed by Infosys in the month of March. Reports say that Jayesh's contribution had been an important factor in the company's recent buybacks including Rs, 8,260 crores in March. Some of the sources tried to decode the reason for Jayesh's exit.
However, as per TOI, the Infosys authorities told that they won't comment on appointments of exits of executives other than KMPs (Key Managerial Personnel). The finance function includes Corporate finance, accounting, taxation and investor relations.
The key leaders at the Infosys are Sunil Dhareshwar, Senior Vice President (SVP) and Group head- global tax and corporate accounting, Deepak Bhalla, SVP and head of business finance and revenue assurance and global CFO-consulting, BPO and products and Sachin Zute who is the VP-corporate finance, treasury, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and subsidiaries finance.
