Hero Karizma ZMR has been relaunched at a price of Rs 1.08 lakh in India after it was stopped from sales last year over its failure to receive the BS-IV update. The bike was also pulled off shelves after it didn’t perform well in terms of sales after the launch of the updated Karizma in 2014.
The bike, one of the signature products from the brand, was first launched in 2003 and was popular among motorcycle enthusiasts. Available in standard and dual tone, the bike with BS-IV-compliant engine is priced at Rs 1.08 lakh and Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively.
Karizma ZMR 2018 is powered by the same 223cc oil-cooled single-cylinder engine, which now adds fuel injection. The motor is paired a 5-speed gearbox, and produces 20bhp and 19.7Nm of peak torque. The motorcycle can reach the top speed of 129 km/h. The motorcycle features telescopic forks up front and twin shocks at the rear and also sports disc brakes at both ends.
