Various native IT companies have cleverly navigated their ways, so as to reduce their dependency upon H-1B (work visa). This has been comparatively easier given that immigration problems have been repeating themselves time and again. Constant attacks, rising visa fees, increase in paperwork are among the major problems that H1-Bs face.
IT giants including Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra have thousands of Americans employed for them. Hence local hiring has been greatly enhanced by over 70% in the U.S. This way, these IT companies are relying less upon transferring skilled manpower from India to the U.S. and have not left any stones unturned as their business works in the absence of interruption in the States.
