Lost jobs due to Corona crisis? Try out these 5 ways to find one
Home > News Shots > Business newsThe ongoing Coronavirus crisis has left many unemployed. Unpaid leaves and pay cuts are also becoming the new normal. To find a new job, irrespective of ones experience, is going to be a task these days. To make it easier for you, we are listing down the top five ways to find jobs in India.
1 - Job Portals
Websites such as Naukri.com, Timesjobs.com, Indeed.com and several others can be of much help. All you need to do is register and build an attractive career profile on these pages before beginning the search.
2 - Newspapers
Besides online job portals, newspapers such as The Times of India, Indian Express, The Hindu, Hindustan Times and several others will carry work openings pages (some regularly and some at times). Note: Avoid classified ads as most of them list fake jobs.
3 - Placement Agencies
Some companies also hire employees through placement agencies. While most of these agencies do not charge for their services, a few do. Note: Beware. There are many fake placement agencies that collect money from job-seekers and don’t give a call.
4 - Referrals
Workers these days are also recruited by referrals. You can contact someone who already works in your preferred company and inquire for a vacancy. Many companies offer their employees a referral bonus.
5 - Career Pages of Companies
Almost all the companies will have a career page where they update about available vacancies time to time. You can either fill in details directly on the pages or send your resume to the email ids mentioned.
