With the rise in Coronavirus cases and deaths, few employees won't return to their offices until at least 2021, while others might never see their office or return back again.
As per CNN Business report, Twitter made headlines in mid-May when they announced that some of its employees could permanently work from home. Following which weeks back, Google announced that its employees will work from home until 2021.
"I hope this will offer the flexibility you need to balance work with taking care of yourselves and your loved ones over the next 12 months," Google CEO Sundar Pichai said in a memo to employees. The work from home crisis has come into play at a time when childcare, education and safety concerns continue to grow across the world.
