Forget free calls, BSNL will credit money in your account for every 5-minute voice calls!
Home > News Shots > Business newsRecently, customers were very unhappy after Reliance Jio announced that they will charge 6 paise per minute for voice calls to other networks. Other telecom operators tried to utilize it much and increase their subscribers but clearly BSNL has announced the winning deal.
While customers were worried over free calls, BSNL has announced that they will pay for every voice call made over 5 minutes, reports India Today.
"In an era of digital experiences, where customers are seeking quality services for voice and data. We want our customers to engage more with our upgraded Next Generation Network, experience the quality of voice call which happens on wireline, and also get incentivized for the same," said BSNL spokesperson.
This move comes on time to save the state-owned telecom operator from dipping low and to increase their subscribers. The government has also approved to merge MTNL and BSNL.
