Google to Introduce '3 Day Weekend' Plan - Here is How it will Benefit Employees!

Google has now introduced a new policy wherein they have decided to give na extra day off to employees in order to avoid employees’ burnout and improve employees’ collective well- being.
"We strongly encourage you to take this day off — and managers should actively support their team to reprioritize work commitments in order to do so,” the internal forum for employees told media.

“Also, providing its employees the option to take an alternate day off, in case they need to work on a Friday. If your manager identifies an urgent business-critical need that requires you to work at the last minute, you should take the next available working day off instead,” the forum added.
While the technical personnel working in Google might be unable to take day off on Friday, the company is exploring ways to offer an alternative to those employees. This initiative has sparked new discussions in social media forums and many employees are now demanding the same in their own companies.
