There have been frequent incidents of electric two-wheelers exploding in India over the past few weeks. There have been many casualties. So there is a kind of fear among people about electric vehicles. This has caused problems among electric vehicle manufacturers.
The federal Government has warned that stern action will be taken against companies that are negligent in the production of electric vehicles. The Government has also urged electric vehicle manufacturers to immediately re-call and repair any defects in the vehicle.
Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO of Ola Electric, responded. In it, ‘It is normal to have a problem with any vehicle, be it electric or gasoline. I would not say there is no problem with that. Most problems are software dependent so we can fix it quickly,' he said.
Ola Electric has also announced the recall of 1441 electric two-wheelers. Ola Electric has taken this step in the wake of the frequent burning of electric vehicles. "As a precautionary measure, we are conducting a thorough inspection of the scooters to ascertain the condition of the spare parts," Ola said. So we are going to re-call 1441 vehicles. '
Ola also said that customer safety is paramount. Earlier, Okinawa Electric Scooters announced the recall of more than 3,000 electric two-wheelers.
