Thesni Khan is known for her comic roles in films and TV shows.The actress made her debut in Cinema by acting in 1998-movie ‘Daisy’. Thesni Khan will be next seen in Gokul Suresh starrer ‘Ulta’, directed by screenplay-writer turned director Suresh Poduval. She will appear as a police officer in the movie. She was vocal about her role and about her new movie ‘Ulta’, while speaking for an exclusive interview with Behindwoods Ice.
According to the actress, the movie is about the hilarious moments that happen in a village which has women heads in all the positions. “This happens in a village known as ‘Ponnapuram’, which is ruled by women. Whatever women dreams, the same happens in the village… The movie tries to say that men and women are equal,” Thesni said. The actress also said that her character ‘Meenakshi’ is a Sub Inspector and it has both good and funny moments. She also was confident about the movie.
Ulta has Gokul Suresh and Prayaga Martin as the main leads. The movie is shot Kannur — northern part of Kerala. The cinematography is done by Prakash Velayudhan and the music is handled by Gopi Sundar. The film is bankrolled by Subhash Cipy. The cast includes, Anusree, Ramesh Pisharody, Salim Kumar, Shanthikrishna, Siddique etc.
