Sushant Singh Rajput's demise has been devastating for all and in particular for a Class 10 student of Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, who died by suicide after hearing of the loss of his idol, as reported in the TOI. In a note, he had written, “If He Can Do It Why Can’t I.”
Sushant was laid to rest yesterday. There had been news that his last film, Dil Bechara, which is a remake of the Hollywood feature, The Fault in our Stars would go in for a direct OTT release, but fans have been asking the production house, Fox Star Studios, to release the film first in theatres to honour his memory.
However, it is to be noted that there hasn't been any sort of official word on whether the film is going on OTT directly from the production house. Nevertheless, fans have been trending #DilBecharaonBigScreen.
It remains to be seen what exactly is the plan while celebrities and fans alike continue to pay homage to and share fond memories of the star who was known to be fond of astronomy.
