FIR OF VIP-2; 2.5 CRORES, 150 CARS AND 12 STORIED BUILDING!

After two mighty big projects, Kabali and Theri, veteran producer Thanu is currently busy with another interesting film VIP 2. We have got some exciting details to share about the film's introduction song and business related information.

Our sources say that the makers have spent around 2.5 crores just for the introduction song alone. Whaaaat? You may ask why so much and what is so special about it? It will supposedly be a unique, one of a kind song which has been shot in 12 storied building. Around 150 cars will feature in the song. When you have Thanu's name as the producer, should we say more about how grand the visuals are going to be?

The highlight of the song would be rope shot choreography. It is actually better seen than written but we are informed that no other South Indian films have attempted a song sequence like this before. We will have to wait and see what is so special about it.

Coming to the business related info, VIP 2 Malaysia rights have been sold to Malik Streams Corporation for a whopping 3 crores. It must be noted that they have earlier acquired release rights of Kabali and Theri as well.

When it comes to USA theatrical rights, Cine Galaxy is the front runner to sign the deal but it is still not official yet.
