Madhur Bhandarkar, director of the upcoming film 'Indu Sarkar' recently left with his team for Pune for his movie's promotions there. The team had planned interaction with media and selected fans in one of the hotels in Pune. Minutes before the event, few Congress party leaders and party workers entered the hotel and created a ruckus.
The National award winning director took the issue to his Twitter profile and wrote. 'Congress workers hv barged in the Hotel lobby & created ruckus,me & team are stranded like hostages in hotel room. #pune activity cancelled.' The hotel was filled with congress party workers and the hotel management had to seek police protection to give security to the team of 'Indu Sarkar.'
Madhur once again took to his Twitter profile and wrote. 'Its baffling to see self-proclaimed custodians of #freedomOfExpression creating huge ruckus to prevent a legitimate release of #InduSarkar'.
'Madhur Bhandarkar's tweets not spell-checked.'
