Famous writer Chetan Bhagat, who has written 9 novels of which most of them are best sellers, has supposedly made it into the Delhi University’s literature syllabus. The author’s books have been made into movies in Bollywood and he has quite a wide range of audience.
Now, certain reports suggest that, Chetan’s "Five Point Someone" could be a part of the 'Popular Fiction' section of the syllabus in Delhi University. It is to be noted that movies like 3 Idiots and Vijay’s Nanban have been inspired from this Chetan Bhagat book. Some other authors in the section are Louisa M Alcott, Agatha Christie and JK Rowling. However, an official confirmation is awaited regarding this from the Delhi University.
To add to this, Chetan Bhagat’s book “Half Girlfriend” has now been made into a movie with the same title starring Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. The movie is expected to release on the 19th of May 2017.
