Certain sections of the media had reported that director AR Murugadoss would be directing a Hindi film starring Akshay Kumar in the lead after Thalapathy 62 and it would be the remake of Oscar-winning Hollywood film Million Dollar Baby.

When we checked with our sources close to Akshay Kumar and AR Murugadoss, they denied the news saying it is not true. For now, AR Murugadoss' sole focus is on Thalapathy 62 which is likely to go on floors in the month of January 2018.
