Kabali is etched in our minds primarily for one reason, that it presented Superstar Rajinikanth as an ageing, brooding don with cold and stark colours like grey and blue, a rivalling Zack Snyder/Frank Miller's deconstructed vision of a mythical figure like Batman. Kabali portrays the story of a godfather-like character, and the posters gave a really subjective way to express the theme, like a man breaking the shackles and releasing the bonded men, who are diminished in size.
