Nee Enge En Anbe / Anaamika was the remake of Hindi blockbuster Kahaani and Nayanthara reprised the role of Vidya Balan in Tamil/Telugu bilingual project. The movie was directed by Sekhar Kammula. The film saw Nayanthara don the role of a powerful lady and a passionate wife in search of her husband.
