When you want to create a song to depict a rural setting, it is safest to take inspiration from the Maestro Ilaiyaraaja. So the song here starts in a fashion that reminds us of the 1980s where women in a rural setting sing in chorus and then we have a beautiful chords of the guitar and flute leading us to the start. Its vijaynarain singing with a delightful thavil and bass by naveen. Sangeetha Karuppiah is the female lead whose is perfect for a song like this. The first interlude is a simple flute solo by the genius Vishnu Vijay ( the man who composed the song Aaradhike last year ) and the stanza goes through a nice passage until Santhosh Narayanan shows his most recognisable style of introducing a skilful change of note that only he can manage to do without altering the songs melody. The second interlude is like a jugabandhi between Vishnu and Keba on the acoustic guitar. The song ends with a nice union of the chorus, guitar and Vijaynarain humming in the background.
