I was so intrigued when I heard the title of the song, as what kind of Thalapathy song asks people to quit. Shouldn’t it be about continuing to fight and struggle without quitting. Then as the guitar starts playing in the background, a bottle is opened and we also hear it getting crushed. It is then that we start understanding that the song is about quitting drinking. The lyrics are very well written by Vignesh ShivN again, and where he excels is stopping just short of becoming preachy but at the same time a song on quitting alcohol cannot be just a lip service. This song is probably the best song in the album. I love the way the trumpets are employed on and off in the song to act like a co-star to Anirudhs vocals. I now eagerly await to see how the song is picturized.
