SETHUPATHI MOVIE RELEASE EXPECTATION

Cop stories always have a special place in our film industry. In every actors’ career there is at least one special role, that of a Police Officer. Just like his last dialogue in Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, now it is “Police dhaan gethu” for Vijay Sethupathi. His next outing brings to us a character probably best suited for his persona. With a stereotypical mustache and built up body, he is back with ‘Sethupathy’, an S U Arun Kumar directorial.

The trailer of the film comes across as a racy-masala-family entertainer while the songs by Nivas K Prasanna are creating quite a buzz. With Remya Nambeesan pairing up again with Vijay Sethupathi, expectations on the Pizza couple rises amidst the audience. Showcasing the high-points of the film with swift cuts and complementing camera angles, Sreekar Prasad and Dinesh Krishnan shine in the trailer.

Considering the array of movies releasing each week, will ‘Sethupathy’ entertain us as much as ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’ and pass the litmus test against its competition too? We will have to wait and see how this turns out for the actor and the team.
