'Mysskin is a Kungfu Panda' - Ram

The trailer launch of Mysskin's Savarakaththi happened today 15th of October at Sathyam Cinemas, Chennai. The event was graced by Director Mysskin. Directors Ram, Pa Ranjith, Thiagarajan Kumararaja, Balaji Sakthivel, K Bhakiyaraj, Aadhithya, Cinematographer PC Sreeram, Prasanna, Poorna, the cast and the crew of the film.

 

The event started off with the typical Tamizhthai Vaazthu and 2 teasers from the movie were played on the screen. Post the screening Music director, Arrol Correli performed a song live on stage. Then the Chief guests were invited to the stage one after the other by Mysskin himself.

 

The event began with Mysskin's welcome speech. He thanked everyone for coming and requested the chief guests to wrap up their speech short and sweet. Let us see know what the guests spoke at the event.

 

Director Sasi said, "There are filmmakers who by mistake make an average film, but Mysskin and Ram are two filmmakers who wouldn't fall under that category at any cost."

 

Director Balaji Sakthivel called Mysskin as his brother and wished the entire team a great success.

 

Actor Prasanna said, "I had a bad opinion about directors including Mysskin getting into acting. After watching Nandalala, I wanted to appreciate him, but my ego stopped me. But after watching Onaayum Aatukuttiyum I couldn't resist myself as I was Stumped and I changed my opinion."

 

Actor Nasser said, "Wolves always move in packs, but this is a lone wolf which has a different attitude. I am happy about his attitude that it helps him being creative and productive. Mysskin films will always be intense and expecting the same with this film too". Talking about the music director in a lighter way he initially thought Arrol Correli was an Italian.

 

Director K Bhagyaraj said "Tamilachi Thangapandian always gives positive energy with her appearance. I was shocked when she told me that she is an English Professor. I was amazed by her work". Speaking about Savarakathi he said that he has more expectations for the film.

 

Director Pa Ranjith said, "Mysskin is a very forceful person. I loved the songs and the teaser. Both have given me positivity and I am sure the audience too will like them".

 

Legendary Cinematographer PC Sreeram said, "Mysskin calls me sometimes and proposes me and then he disconnects the call. He is a lovely human and I love him a lot"

 

Tamizhachi Thangapandian on her speech, "Mysskin cannot be fitted to any caste or community or religion or gender. In fact, He often worries himself that he wanted to be a transgender by birth. All his care, affection and hugs have always been true and never intentional."

 

Poorna on her speech thanked her mother for allowing to pursue her passion despite hailing from a Muslim family. She broke out on stage saying that she always wanted to be a part of good films. She also added, "My mom is happy now. She started crying when Mysskin Sir and Ram Sir, appreciated me on stage."

 

The hero of the film Katrathu Tamil fame Ram on his speech, "The film would be a huge commercial success. For the first ever time Lone Wolf is going to mint money. Actress Poorna plays a role of a deaf woman as Subathra and she has done her part brilliantly". He finished off with cracking a joke "Mysskin is a Kungfu learned Kungfu Panda".

 

Director Mysskin who spoke at the last thanked everyone for coming again. He said, "I am very much grateful to Poorna that she did this role. She even dubbed herself in the film. She is one of the most disciplined girls in the Industry." Speaking about Ram he said, "According to the script there was a stunt scene where I have to break Ram's leg and while shooting Ram accidentally fell down and he couldn't stand up. I realized something went wrong, but Ram continued to act. At least for him and his commitment this movie should run well and earn me profit so that I could produce the second part of the same movie."
