MUSIC DIRECTOR GHIBRAN HAUNTS

Adhe Kangal, directed by Rohin Venkatesan and starring Kalaiyarasan, Janani Iyer and Sshivada in the lead roles has music by Ghibran. A single titled ‘Thandhiraa’ has been released today, January 2nd. Thandhiraa is supposed to mean magical.

The song has lyrics by S.N Anuradha and vocals by  Rajan Chelliah and Sree Ganesh. It is very different and has a haunting whistle playing along after every verse. This whistle by Leonard heard previously in the teaser, is special as it adds the mystery element to the song.

Rajan Chelliah and Sree Ganesh have unique voices to make it all the more offbeat. The song has western beats predominantly. Kudos to music director Ghibran for giving listeners the intoxicating feeling through ‘Thandhiraa’, that hooks you to it more than once for it’s hazy nature, beats, whistle and vocals.

The teaser and single of Adhe kangal seems to give you affirmation that we can expect another different attempt, from producer C.V Kumar’s precious set of films.
