Think or talk about a recent classic film based on a true and pure love story and what suddenly pops up in our minds is 96. Agree? Directed by Prem Kumar, the film indeed was arguably one of the finest movies in Kollywood that starred Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha in the lead roles as Ram and Janu.

The film also featured Adithya Bhaskar as junior Ram and Gouri Kishan as junior Jaanu in lead roles. The story revolves around the high school sweethearts who were united for a few precious hours after a class reunion. The movie not only did wonders at the box-office but also has etched deeply in our hearts.

Post the success of '96', it was remade in Kannada as '99' starring Bhavana and Ganesh in the lead roles and in Telugu as ‘Jaanu’ featuring Samantha and Sharwanand in the lead. Meanwhile, the director, Prem Kumar has posted an interesting pic on his social media.

Sharing a pic of VJS and a cat which is named Trisha, the netizens are surprised to see this new pic. Answering to one of the users, the director has said that the actor had joined Prem for lunch this afternoon and now with the pic going viral, fans wants to know if there are any plans for 96 sequel.
