STR’S MAANAADU: GRAND SONG SHOOT WITH OVER 200 DANCERS GOING ON - ANOTHER ACTRESS JOINS THE SHOOT!
Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsSTR’s fans are super-excited as the actor’s much awaited film, Maanaadu had kickstarted last month with a grand pooja and the first shot was set in a coffee shop. The actor will be essaying the role of Abdul Khaaliq, the protagonist.
Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the highly anticipated project is produced by Suresh Kamatchi of V House Productions. Touted to be a political genre movie, the film features Kalyani Priyadarshan as the female lead while Premji Amaren, Karunakaran and veteran directors SA Chandrasekhar and Bharathiraja SJ Suryah as villain, Aravind Akash amongst others in prominent roles.
The film features music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Now, it has been learnt that a grand song shoot is currently being shot in a huge set in a theme park near Chennai. Above 200 dancers from Mumbai and Bangalore have participated for a spectacular dance sequence which is being choreographed by popular choreographer, Raju Sundaram.
Apart from the leads - STR and Kalyani Priyadarshan, popular actress Anjena Kirti has also joined the song shoot in Chennai. The makers have set the grand set worth crores and with so much of exciting news, it makes one wait impatiently to watch the song on big screens. Stay tuned!
