SHOCKING: DIRECTOR CHEYYAR RAVI PASSES AWAY

We had earlier reported that the Malayalam blockbuster film, Dhrishyam will be remade in Sinhalese by director Cheyyar Ravi. The film has been completed and is ready for release. At this time, We regret to inform that Cheyyar Ravi has passed away owing to a heart attack, today on 11th March in Chennai.

Cheyyar Ravi debuted with Prabhu starrer Dharmaseelan in 1993 and his Harichandra back in 1998 which starred Karthik and Meena, was a well-made comedy film then.

Ravi was directing a TV serial when he was struck by the cardiac arrest. We convey our deepest condolences to his family and his close ones.
