GV Prakash's Bruce Lee trailer review

GV Prakash Kumar's next flick, Bruce Lee, directed by Prashanth Pandiraj and co-starring Kriti Kharbanda is scheduled for a Pongal 2017 release and its trailer is out now. The film has music by GVP himself.

The trailer gives us a basic idea that the film is about a young man who is looking to draw inspiration from all Tamil action films and becoming a don in his area against of course, his villain. 'Munishkanth' Ramdoss is the villain here. The comedy element is added to the villain where he is shown in the Hollywood 'Godfather' getup and also is known as Godfather in the film. He also comes in the Joker (Batman series) costume. As the trailer suggests, it is the battle between a 'Hollywood villain' and a 'Desi hero'. The trailer also features the famous 'Baasha' villain, Anandaraj who is now currently doing a lot of comic roles.

From the outset, it looks like the usual GV Prakash formula of comedy but this time there seems to be some action involved. GV Prakash is shown to be handling some stunts while his usual team of comedians carries the humour element forward. Though the trailer promises a lot of fun, it has a lot of resemblance to GV's previous film, Enakku Innoru Per Irukku (EIPI) in its colour tone, the dialogues and the line of comedy. The trailer also carries a few references of GV's favourite Kollywood star, Ilayathalapathy Vijay.

Let's wait for Pongal to watch the film and know more!
