Director Cheran is always known for his bold statements and honest opinions on current issues. He has now taken to Twitter to register his opinion on how to better the revenue of a producer.
 

He tweeted, "விஜய்அஜித் படங்கள் தியேட்டர்களின் வசூல்அல்லாமல் 1கோடி வீடுகளில் மக்களைபார்க்கவைத்து அதைவசூலாக்கமுடியும் அவர்களிருவரும் மனதுவைத்தால் நடக்கும். எல்லோரும் அமைதியாகஇருப்பதும் எல்லோரையும்புறந்தள்ளுவதும் எப்போதுமே தீர்வுஆகாது திரையரங்கம்அல்லாத மற்றவசூல்கள் தயாரிப்பாளருக்குகிடைக்கவேண்டும்"

This tweet of his is roughly translated as, "Vijay and Ajith's films, instead of collecting crores at the box office, their films can be made to reach to one crore households, and that revenue can turn profitable to producers. This can happen if both the stars are willing to. Keeping silent always is not the solution for any problem. Not just the box office collections, other sources of revenue should also reach the producers."
