KAMAL'S CHARACTER IS THE INSPIRATION FOR...

Director Arun Mohan on his film Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu

Sarabham fame Arun Mohan would soon be directing Jiiva in a film titled Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu (NN).

 

The young director updates about his project, “My film is a simple, emotional, action flick on the lines of Dhill. People have said it is a cop story. I would like to say it is NOT. The film is a city based one and the setting is in Chennai.

 

Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu is a character defining phrase and it will be reflective of Jiiva’s role in the film. He plays a mechanic called Raja. I am a huge fan of Kamal sir and in most of the films, Raja will be the name of the character of Kamal sir. He also played a mechanic Raja in Apoorva Sagodarargal. That’s why I chose to name my hero as Raja.

 

Talks are on with Lakshmi Menon and in most likelihood, she would be on board. Mostly, C Sathya will be the music composer. About the rest of the technical team, we would soon be announcing.

 

Pre-production is going on right now. We would soon be commencing the shooting in November-December".
