In just a few days Europe’s largest exhibition of Indian cinema – the London Indian Film Festival (LIFF) - begins and Tamil cinema comprises a large part of the showcase. For the second year in a row, director Manikandan will have a film in the lineup with "Kutrame Thandanai"’s European premiere taking place there on July 15.
Although Manikandan’s film is the only new Tamil feature film in the programme, the festival is also paying homage to South Indian cinema by screening the popular documentary on Super Star Rajinikanth titled “For the Love of a Man” directed by Rinku Kalsy. And for the first time ever, LIFF will also be hosting a very rare on stage Q & A talk with Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan himself, following a screening of a remastered version of Mani Ratnam’s legendary "Nayagan" on 17th July.
The London Indian Film Festival runs from July 14th to 24th.
