Amala Paul on Rathna Kumar's 'Aadai' naked scenes shoot

The teaser and the trailer of the film have been firing up the internet recently. The trailer launch of the event happened recently and Amala Paul shared her experience working in the film.

She stated "When we started to plan the naked scenes shoot, though I was confident initially, I started to feel the heat as the shoot time was nearing. I asked the director how many people were in the sets and how is the environment there? before I reached the spot. As I went to the set, many technicians were actually resting. Only 15 of them were in the set including the camera, lighting and other important crew members. I did my first scene and then went to them and told, "Paanjaali had only 5 husbands and now I feel like Pandhrahli (15 in Hindi). That's the kind of trust I had on the team and that's how comfortable I was. Thanks to the team. This film is one of the best decisions I've taken recently." Many people asked me 'What if this film flops? What will happen to my career?' I just wanted to reply "Who cares, Every film has a destiny and this film is mine."

I had actually decided to quit films. I was receiving a lot of synopses and they weren't interesting. It was either about being a women victim, how a woman struggles, how supportive a wife can be or about a sacrificing mother. A lot of synopses were not true and artificial. That's when I received Aadai's synopsis and I was shocked. I asked if it was a Hindi or an English film at first. I liked it and wanted to meet the director, so Rathna came all the way to Delhi to meet and narrated the story for two hours. There was a lot of positive energy from the beginning. The producer was very concerned about the naked scenes. He wanted to arrange a special costume for me and I said: "We will do what the movie takes and not to worry about it.".
