AISHWARYA RAI TO HOST THIS IMMENSELY POPULAR TV SHOW?

Kaun Banega Crorepati is one major television show which has seized the attention of all the viewers across India. Amitabh Bachchan was the host for seven seasons of the show while the quizmaster's hat shifted to the Baadsha of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan for one season in the middle.

Now, for the 9th season of the show, the producers are planning to rope in a female host. They have reportedly approached Bollywood's beauty queens Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit. Madhuri has already set foot in the television industry by judging the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, two seasons of So You Think You Can Dance India and the matchmaking show Kahi Na Kahi Koi Hai. If Aishwarya gives a heads up to take up the show, it will be her debut on the small screen.

Amitabh Bachchan has proved his worth time and again on the show with his rhetoric way of presenting the show and his gracious screen presence. Reports suggest that both Ash and Madhuri have not given an official word on this yet, but it will be interesting to see one of them take over the show as it has not seen a female host in its 9 seasons since its inception in the year 2000.
