WILL RAJINI MURUGAN JOIN THE HARVEST?

Last weekend, the box-office witnessed two major releases, Pasanga 2 and Bhooloham, which released as Christmas specials. The next big festival releases will be for Pongal 2016 and here is a quick update about the films that are aiming at hitting the screens for that season.

 

- Actor Vishal - Director Pandiraj’s Kathakali and Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Gethu are sure about releasing for Pongal and have started booking theatres too.

 

- There was some uncertainty about Rajini Murugan's release for Pongal, but sources hint that this Sivakarthikeyan starrer will see the light of the day with the help of a North-India based media company called Pen Movies, who are touted to distribute the film. Pen Movies' logo is also present in the new posters of the film. 

 

- Thaara Thappattai has also announced a Pongal release, but will it get enough number of screens, keeping in mind the hype all these films have?
