The big announcement this past week was the title of Vijay's under production 59th film with young director Atlee. The title Theri became viral instantly and attracted the attention of a large section of viewers and of course fans of the star.

 

Ilayathalapathy Vijay's films generally have such short disyllabic, trisyllabic titles which are a big factor in his films catching on with a large section of the film going audience in all centers, particularly young impressionable kids.

 

Starting from Kushi, Ghilli, Aadhi, Kuruvi, Villu, Sura to his recent titles like Jilla, Kaththi, Puli and Theri, it looks like this short and catchy title trend is here to stay in most of Vijay's films.
